Construction Project Manager (Public Sector)
Looking for a rewarding Project Manager role in the Public Sector while maintaining a good work-life balance? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
Our client is recruiting a Construction Project Manager to join their Capital & Estates Department in Dublin. The successful candidate will oversee capital works, tender projects, manage contractors and design teams, and communicate with stakeholders.
This is an initial 1-year contract with potential for extension and permanency.
* 30 days of annual leave
* Travel expenses and subsistence allowance
Key Responsibilities
* Service & Contract Management: Ensure service providers adhere to contracts, monitor performance, and work with external partners.
* Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure facilities meet regulations, implement quality frameworks.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams, management, and external providers.
* Financial & Budget Oversight: Monitor financial performance, ensure value for money.
* Health & Safety: Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
Candidate Requirements
At the latest application date, candidates must:
* Hold a Level 8 or higher qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying accredited by relevant professional bodies.
Knowledge & Experience
* High knowledge of building construction, services, and maintenance.
* Leadership and team management skills.
* Effective communication skills, including presenting, facilitating, and giving feedback.
