We are currently recruiting for a Banqueting Head Chef on behalf of our client, a luxury property in the Wicklow area. About the role: Head Chefs are required to supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned Kitchen Staff, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the Hotel Standards, while working within the budgeted guidelines. Head Chefs must also assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests as well as provide support, training, direction, and focus to ensure staff members have continued success. They are required to develop an understanding of stewarding processes. The Ideal candidate will possess: Ability to think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration and make concise decisions. Ability to communicate in English to the understanding of employees and guests. Knowledge of food safety handling. Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals. Ability to prioritise, organise and follow up. Ability to focus attention on details. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
