As a Senior Kitchen Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a specific section of the kitchen. Your primary focus will be on preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest standard.
You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop menus and specials, ensuring that all food is prepared according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
Maintaining strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen is crucial. You must organize mise en place efficiently and ensure your section is ready for service.
Key responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, reducing waste, and assisting with ordering. You will also be responsible for training, supervising, and supporting junior chefs and commis in your section.
Effective communication with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams is vital. Contributing ideas and creativity to maintain and improve overall food quality is expected.
Requirements
* Minimum 2+ years experience as a Chef de Partie or higher
* Able to work and reside locally
* Eligibility to work in Ireland
