A food manufacturing company based in Co Monaghan is seeking a
Quality Control Technician
to support daily quality checks and contribute to the ongoing improvement of Quality & Food Safety systems.
Hours
6:00am-3:00pm
(standard) Mon- Fri
Occasional
8:30am-5:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine QC checks: raw materials, finished products, weights, labels, temperatures.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Conduct hygiene and GMP audits.
Assist with customer, third party, and BRCGS audits.
Investigate customer complaints and support root?
cause resolution.
Identify quality and process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
Support production teams on food safety and quality standards.
Monitor and report on Quality KPIs.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and digital reporting.
Knowledge, Education & Experience
Minimum 3
years' food manufacturing experience
.
Strong understanding of HACCP and Quality Management Systems.
Skills & Abilities
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently with good time?
management and organisation.
Strong analytical and problem?
solving ability.
Proficient in computer applications and reporting systems.
Full clean driving licence and own transport.
