OverviewDue to ongoing expansion this highly commercially driven organisation are hiring a Head of Health & Safety as a new role to compliment their ongoing commitment to a healthy, safe, accident free working environment for their staff. Reporting to the CEO with responsibility for your team of H&S professionals you will deliver on the H&S strategy to align with the commercial strategy and put H&S into all policy making, driving a safety first approach. It is essential to the role that you will have a proven track record of impacting on the culture of risk in your organisation and have worked to change organisational behaviour towards risk.Your role will involve: Being the expert in the room, leading your team to deliver on the culture and operational changes required, working to deliver ISO 45001, Run steering committees, develop training, engage all stakeholders to impact across the whole H&S landscape with contractors and suppliers as well, oversee all investigations, initiatives and operate a continuous improvement environment.It is essential you have a track record of no less than 10 years in leadership in Health & Safety within an Industrial organisation and have managed a behavioural safety transformation programme.You will have an interest in continuous professional development, with a minimum of a Degree in Health & Safety related discipline.
