Role Overview
Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations within a designated centre, ensuring compliance with HIQA, Health Act 2007, and related legislation. Reports to: Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
Supervise staff, providing training, coaching and reflective supervision.
Promote inclusion, dignity and personal choice for all service users.
Engage with families, professionals, and regulatory bodies.
Balance resources, quality and accountability within the organisation.
Maintain compliance with HIQA, Children First Act 2015, Disability Act 2005 and GDPR.
Qualifications and Experience
Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent recognized by CORU, or Level 7 plus Management qualification (min. 30 ECTS, Level 6 or higher) in line with HIQA Regulation 14(7).
Minimum 3 years' management or supervisory experience in a health or social care setting.
Full, clean driving licence.
Successful completion of Garda Vetting.
