**Job Title:** Accounts Assistant New
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant with expertise in accounts payable to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve payment issues.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
* Provide support during audits and assist with ad-hoc tasks.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Prior experience in accounts payable, preferably in a practice or retail setting.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* An accounting qualification (e.g., AAT, part-qualified ACCA/ACA) is a plus.
