Our client operates a
Global Distribution & Supply Chain Centre in Dublin
, employing c.200 people and supporting global logistics operations. They are seeking an experienced
Finance Director
to lead financial strategy and governance within a complex, international supply chain environment.
The Role
Reporting to the
Global VP Executive
and working closely with the Group CFO, this role is a key strategic partner to the business. You will support global supply chain transformation, inventory and warehouse optimisation, and operational efficiency while ensuring robust financial control and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all financial, administrative, tax, and risk management activities in Ireland
* Act as a strategic finance partner to global supply chain leadership
* Drive budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and performance reporting
* Oversee cash flow, billing, collections, and period-end closings
* Ensure trade compliance, internal controls, and regulatory adherence
* Deliver clear, insightful financial reporting to senior stakeholders
* Lead, develop, and manage a finance team of
Key Requirements
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) is a must have qualification.
* Strong experience in
supply chain, logistics, or retail distribution finance preferred
* Strategic thinker with the ability to manage large complex finance teams
* Proven leadership within large, complex international organisations
* Excellent FP&A and accounting expertise (P&L & Balance Sheet)
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Power BI is necessary
* In office availability 3 days per week | city centre based
* Fluent English necessary, (Italian, French or Spanish an advantage)
