This role is based in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
About the Role
Irish HomeCare is seeking qualified and experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team in Dundalk. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing home care services to clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal, non‑medical care and assistance to clients in their own homes.
Assist with clients’ physical, nutritional and social needs as outlined in their Care Plan, including personal care (washing, dressing, continence care), mobility support, feeding assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, etc.
Requirements
A major award in Health or Social Care or equivalent (Qualified to Level 5 on the QQI Framework).
Previous care or healthcare experience.
General understanding of geriatric health and mobility issues.
Strong verbal communication skills and good command of spoken and written English.
A full Irish (or Irish‑recognised) driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Hours of Work
39 hours per week. Must be available to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings (including weekends and bank holidays).
Salary
€32,691 per annum.
