Overview
The Inside Sales Agent role provides opportunities to work across different areas of the CPM business including Direct Sales and Retail. The successful candidate will report to the Inside Sales Manager and work from the CPM Head Office in Cookstown, Dublin. The role involves generating sales and creating leads and appointments in the SME, Retail and On Trade sectors, with primary focus on the Vodafone SME Sales channel and flexibility to work on different campaigns as they arise.
Responsibilities
* Create sales through desk-based research, contacting potential customers to sell our clients' products and services
* Proactively engage customers over the phone, using self-generated leads or working with call or customer files
* Achieve and exceed agreed KPI targets
* Manage your customer pipeline and own your CRM to ensure information is correct, accurate and secure
* Plan structurally to maximise efficiency and volume of prospects
* work to the highest compliance levels set out by the company and client
* Ensure all activities are completed compliantly and in accordance with training on internal and external compliance guidelines
* Provide competitor feedback and industry insight
* Proactively research new and existing products and services from competitors on an ongoing basis
* Utilise inside / tele-sales and/or lead generation experience
* Experience within the utilities sector (e.g., telecoms, energy)
* Awareness of the Irish business arena at local and national levels to maintain pipeline
* Experience working with outbound calling, lead management and/or CRM systems
* Experience in a fast-paced target-driven role, ideally in the business sector
* Competent IT skills, comfortable with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
* Ability to multi-task, updating systems and online forms in real-time while on calls with prospects
* Strong focus on results and achieving targets daily, weekly and monthly; work on own initiative and seek ways to improve sales performance
* Positive mindset when interacting with customers, colleagues and clients
* Teamwork-oriented with ability to share best practices and contribute to a positive team dynamic
* Strong analytical and judgement skills to prioritise opportunities
* Accountability for performance and personal ownership of corrective measures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive customer relationships

* Strong written skills for preparing proposals to customers and feedback to management/client
Qualifications
* Inside / Tele-sales and/or lead generation experience
* Experience in the utilities sector (telecoms, energy)
* Experience with outbound calling, lead management and CRM systems
* Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven role
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
