Cloud Engineer Fully Remote€50-90 K depending on experience We are currently resourcing for an experienced Cloud Engineer for our Irish client.
The ideal candidate will have strong Python Development skills, excellent knowledge of Linux, Cloud-init, Libvirt, KVM Hypervisors, networking and HPC.
This is a full-time role (remote) and the Cloud Engineer will be responsible for software and supporting documentation, as well as infrastructure setup and support.
Essential Skills:- Python Development skills- Infrastructure and Cloud Computing expertise- Deep knowledge of Linux, including CLI, bash, systemd etc- Understanding of Cloud-init- Experience in Libvirt and KVM Hypervisors- Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, RFC1918, VLANs, Linux Network Namespaces, nftables etc- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Ability to work effectively in a team environment- Excellent communication and documentation abilities- Experience with HPC, Slurm, Ceph and GPUs are an advantage This is a very exciting role for a Cloud Engineer with Python development skills and Cloud-init experience.
The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in Ireland or the UK.
