Speech & Language Therapist Kare Adult Services Permanent Contract 35 hours per week Location: Kilcullen, Co. Kildare Speech & Language Therapist Salary Scale: €44,563 to €63,786 DOE The Speech and Language Therapist will work on the Adult Clinical Support Team in Kare, contributing to the delivery of an effective service in line with organisational priorities and department objectives, and always acting within their professional standards, guidelines and policy. This role will operate as part of the Speech & Language Department, which is part of a wider clinical supports team. Responsibilities: Plan and organise activities and necessary resources efficiently and effectively Implement sufficient clinical skills in assessment intervention and diagnostics to meet the specific needs of the relevant caseload Be aware of policy, legislative and professional requirements to ensure appropriate standards Ensures that all records and technical data are up to dare and available if required Ensures strict compliance with health and safety standards and adheres to operational guidelines ensuring equipment is checked and is working correctly in accordance with safety standards Collaborate with the service user while working in partnership with their family /carers and all other relevant stakeholders to identify and achieve goals Form strong positive working relationships across all areas of the service, builds on a common understanding Attend and actively contribute to relevant clinical and professional and service meetings Requirements: A qualification, recognised by CORU, in Speech and Language Therapy Experience working with children/young people/ adults with disability is an advantage (including placement experience) Be registered with CORU or eligible for registration with CORU. 2025 graduates awaiting CORU registration and/or newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists are welcome to apply.
