Advanced Specialist Pharmacist Oncology/Haematology
Career Overview:
This is a leadership role within the pharmacy service, focusing on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and clinical support in a specialized environment.
* Lead and develop the provision of care and services to wards and clinical areas.
* Prioritize patient care and safety at all times.
* Manage and optimize information systems related to Oncology/Haematology pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, review, and implement medication policies, protocols, and guidelines.
2. Oversee safe and cost-effective management of medications.
3. Collaborate with teams to improve medication management and guidelines.
4. Lead audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
5. Provide leadership, mentorship, and opportunities for development.
6. Participate in governance, committees, and transformation strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Registered or eligible with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
* Minimum 4 years post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.
* Demonstrated expertise in clinical pharmacy, ideally in oncology/haematology.
* Proven leadership, organizational, and resource management skills.
