Your focus will be on ensuring cost-effective purchasing, developing supplier relationships, and optimising inventory to support operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and service reliability Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to drive cost savings and secure supply continuity Raise and manage purchase orders, tracking deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to enhance service levels and performance Collaborate with internal departments-engineering, production, and aftersales-to align sourcing with technical and operational needs Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery Analyse usage trends and forecasts to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency Identify cost-reduction opportunities and support ongoing budget management Criteria; Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and purchasing processes.
