Sherry FitzGerald Group has an exciting opportunity for a driven Valuer to join their Residential Valuations Team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative, have excellent communications skills and work well as part of a team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Conducting valuations
* Specific financial institutions and lenders
* Probate valuations
* Family law valuations
* Project valuations
* HSE Fairdeal Scheme
* CGT / CAT Valuations
* Revenue Valuations
* LPT Valuations
* Inspect and measure properties for valuations.
* Assist the overall valuation team with delivery of high-quality valuation projects on schedule.
* Ensure payment is collected for valuations to avoid bad debts accumulating.
* On occasion, to attend court regarding family law cases.
* To assist in the winning of business for the Valuations Department.
* Build & maintain relationships with the relevant branches to increase cross referrals within your assigned region.
* Be an effective team member of the Valuations team contributing to the development of the departments business plan, while supporting each other in the achievement of individual and team KPIs.
* Is aware of, understands and complies with all of the relevant standards and processes within the department. Ensuring adherence to professional standards of valuations.
* Responsible and accountable for the quality of valuation work undertaken, to ensure compliance with the standards and expectations of the Valuers professional body- i.e. RICS/ SCSI/ IPAV.
* Proactively seeks opportunities for continual professional development and to record CPD undertaken in line with requirements of the Valuers professional body.
* Utilises all relevant technology systems, maintains up-to-date & accurate records, ensuring valuations are continually and appropriately recorded.
Requirements:
* Registered Valuer (SCSI) or IPAV TEGoVA.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative.
* A team player that works collaboratively with others.
* Comfortable with new technologies and proficient in MS office packages.
* Full clean driver licence.
