Job Title: Financial Strategist
We are seeking a Financial Strategist to join our team in Dundalk. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant eager to advance their career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
* Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
* Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Conduct detailed cost centre analysis, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
* Support and implement cost control initiatives across departments.
* Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls, developing new procedures as required.
* Assist in internal and external audits, working closely with auditors and the Senior Finance Manager.
* Act as a financial advisor to department heads, providing insights and strategic guidance.
* Work closely with the wider finance team on month-end and year-end processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA Or CPA.
* Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role within industry.
* Experience in the manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
* Experience using accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle or similar ERP systems).
