Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Materials Planner to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This is an 18 month contract based in Wexford.This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials required for production and operations while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Balancing supply and demand, manages purchase planning while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Plan, schedule, and monitor material requirements based on production plans, forecasts, and customer demandGenerate and manage purchase requisitions and planned ordersMonitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, excess, and obsolescenceCoordinate with procurement, production, engineering, logistics, and suppliers to ensure on-time material availabilityTrack supplier performance and escalate risks related to delays, shortages, or quality issuesAnalyze demand variability and adjust plans accordinglySupport production scheduling by resolving material constraintsMaintain accurate master data in ERP/MRP systemsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, inventory, and supply chain efficiencyKey Requirements:4+ years of experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain roles in a high volume manufacturing environmentBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field)Proficiency in SAP
