Lead Project Manager | Ireland A public sector body is seeking to appoint a Lead Project Manager to play a key role in shaping and embedding a newly established Project Management Office (PMO). This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to drive best practice, support project delivery teams, and influence strategic projects across capital works, IT, transformation, and climate change initiatives. This role can be based in Carrick on Shannon, Dublin or Scariff offices. Your new role as Lead Project Manager You will: Oversee and support projects across cost, scope, time, risk, and quality. Develop and embed project management processes, governance, and reporting. Mentor project managers and provide training and guidance. Drive continuous improvement and introduce PMO systems. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver organisational objectives. What you'll need to succeed Degree (Level 8 or higher) in business, engineering, or project management. 5+ years' experience in project/programme/PMO management. Recognised project management qualification or professional membership. Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills. Proven leadership and organisational ability. Full driving licence and ability to travel across regional offices. What's in it for you?
