Role Title: Field technician
Reports To: Team Manager
Location: Office in Drogheda – works to cover Nationwide
Role Purpose
You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and servicing the network of environmental monitoring stations. Full training is provided, and no experience necessary however knowledge of an environmental discipline is an advantage.
Key Tasks of the Job:
Attending sites around the greater Dublin area for environmental monitoring equipment maintenance – changing batteries, making sure equipment is functional, switching equipment out of calibration, collecting air quality samples
Installation of noise, vibration, hydro and dust monitoring equipment
Conducting servicing/calibration on hydrological equipment in Dublin port and bay
Additional Office based Tasks:
Weekly Environmental data analysis and report writing – Excel and Word
Requirements:
· Full clean Irish driving license – Category B
· Passion for working on site and maintaining/operating equipment
· Passion for manual work
· Knowledge of environmental monitoring, preferably with experience in addition
Principal Responsibilities
1. Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work. Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you.
2. Install Noise, Vibration, Dust, Hydrometric sensors for various clients nationwide.
3. Service and maintain Environmental noise, Vibration, Dust, Hydrometric sensors for various clients nationwide.
4. Work to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) set out by both our Clients and NVM.
5. Deliver a first-class customer experience.
6. Positively promote the brand, through on-site performance.
7. Liaise with the Team Manager to ensure that on-site health and safety requirements or issues are communicated in a timely manner. Work to the highest of health and safety standards always.

Education/Qualifications
A full, clean Irish driver's license is required
Experience
Previous experience in a customer facing role is desirable not essential
Accreditation (Professional body)
Diploma or better in a technical skill would be an advantage
Safe Pass ( mandatory)

Technical knowledge on instrumentation an advantage
Good literacy, numeric and IT skills.
