About Your New Job:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Legal Personal Assistant (PA) to join a busy and high-performing legal team. Working alongside other experienced PAs, you will provide dedicated support to Partners and Associates across a range of practice areas within a general legal environment.
This role requires a highly organised, proactive professional who can manage competing priorities, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and provide seamless administrative and secretarial support in a fast-paced setting.
What You Will Do:
Provide comprehensive diary and travel management for Partners and fee earners
Produce, amend, and format high-quality legal documentation from digital dictation and handwritten drafts in accordance with firm house style
Manage billing processes, including drafting bills, liaising with finance teams, and monitoring WIP
Prepare documentation and materials for client meetings, including research and background information where required
Manage emails, calendars, and contact databases efficiently and proactively
Maintain accurate filing systems, including electronic filing and document management systems
Assist with court documentation preparation and general litigation administration where required
Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas and supporting documents
Provide general administrative support including printing, scanning, posting, and document collation
Ensure all confidential information is handled with discretion and professionalism
Who You Are:
Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Legal PA/Secretary supporting senior legal professionals
Strong experience within a busy legal environment (litigation, property, probate, or general practice experience advantageous)
Advanced working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience using document management systems, billing systems, and digital dictation tools
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise tasks effectively
Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused
Discreet and professional in handling confidential information
A strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues when required
Eager to learn, develop, and continuously improve
