Assistant Store Manager
About the Role:
This leadership position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results by leading a team of sales associates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Elevate Customer Experience: Model Customer Experience Leader behaviors, coach associate behaviors to achieve store goals and KPIs.
* Maintain Store Standards: Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining DSW store standards.
* Strategic Planning: Partner with Store Manager to create long-term strategic plans and review progress daily/weekly/monthly.
* Performance Improvement: Improve metric-based goals by reviewing, understanding, and communicating daily/weekly/monthly progress.
* Process Oversight: Oversee processes related to audits, donations, transfers, mismates, damages, etc.
* Policy Compliance: Work closely with the Store Manager to understand and ensure that all policy and procedures are followed.
Requirements:
* Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years management experience.
* Customer Service: Excellent customer service by exhibiting professionalism, a positive mindset, and enthusiasm.
* Collaboration Skills: Ability to develop collaborative working relationships.
* Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Time Management: Ability to move with tempo and hold team accountable to meet time-bound expectations.
