An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a well-established Irish main contractor delivering a high-profile construction project in County Clare.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate site records, drawings, and technical documentation
Interpret and communicate construction drawings, specifications, and technical information to site teams
Monitor and coordinate site works in accordance with contract documents and project programme
Liaise with consultants, architects, subcontractors, planners, and the wider project team
Supervise subcontractors and direct labour to ensure efficient site operations
Coordinate site logistics, plant, and resources to maximise productivity
Ensure strict compliance with Quality Assurance procedures and BCAR requirements
Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety standards on site
Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues or construction challenges, ensuring timely resolution
Assist in planning and sequencing works to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved
Ensure all works are completed to specification, programme, and the highest safety and quality standards
Responsibilities may evolve depending on project requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer role within the construction industry
Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of construction processes, site engineering practices, and regulatory requirements
Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solutions-driven approach
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team environment
