Due to continued growth in our export markets, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Executive to join our expanding team in Emyvale.
Role Summary
This is a dynamic and varied position ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Based at our head office, the Sales Executive will play a key role in the operational management of sales and export activities. While primarily office-based, the role offers opportunities for international travel to attend trade shows, customer meetings, and market visits.
Key Responsibilities
Export Sales Coordination
* Manage end-to-end export order processes — from entry to delivery
* Ensure accuracy of documentation, customs compliance, and logistics handling
Customer Relationship Management
* Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of international customers
* Foster long-term relationships to support growth and customer satisfaction
Sales Support & Administration
* Provide administrative support to the sales team
* Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and maintain CRM system
Operational Leadership
* Liaise with logistics, production, quality and finance teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfilment
* Provide leadership and direction when senior team members are offsite
Market Engagement
* Assist in identifying new business opportunities and potential markets
Travel & Representation
* Opportunity to represent the company at international trade shows and customer visits as required
Key Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales support, export, or commercial operations role (experience in food or FMCG is an advantage)
* Relevant third-level qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field
* Full, clean driving licence (essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach
* Highly organised with strong administrative and time-management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
* Able to manage multiple priorities and problem solve
* Familiarity with international trade documentation, Incoterms, and logistics processes is desirable but not essential
