About the Role
Gourmet Food Parlour is seeking a professional, proactive, and organised Catering Operations Executive to join our growing catering division.
This role is primarily office-based and focuses on managing the day-to-day operations of our catering kitchen.
You will take responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Catering Manager and support smooth delivery of our catering services.
While daily office-based, there will be on-the-road activity to oversee events or deliveries as required.
Key Responsibilities
Take operational responsibility for the catering kitchen in the absence of the Catering Manager.
Coordinate catering orders, scheduling, and logistics to ensure seamless service.
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory.
Liaise with clients, venues, and internal teams to ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.
Oversee setup, service, and breakdown at selected events as required.
Support the catering and sales teams with administrative tasks, including booking records, invoicing, and reporting.
Assist with bookkeeping and financial records related to catering operations.
Maintain compliance with HACCP and Food Safety standards.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in catering operations or a similar role.
Strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Full, clean driving license essential
HACCP and Food Safety training desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with basic bookkeeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, proactive, and professional approach.
Fluent in English.

Attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Ability to work collaboratively and lead in the absence of a manager.
Flexibility to be on-site for events or deliveries when needed.
Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting and carrying of catering equipment.
Ability to be present at events on-site when required.
