Job Title: Project Engineer Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project Engineer Coordinator to lead multidisciplinary teams, particularly focusing on public lighting projects across multiple sites. This role will provide strategic oversight, manage and mentor design engineers, ensure design-to-construction handovers, and coordinate closely with construction stage managers, driving project success from design through completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of civil design engineers on public lighting projects.
Coordinate with Lighting Design Team for lighting designs for relevant projects.
Provide strategic oversight on design processes and ensure quality and compliance.
Coordinate with construction stage managers for smooth project handovers.
Mentor and develop civil engineering team, fostering growth and excellence.
Drive process improvements and ensure successful project delivery from design to completion.
Site Surveying as required for relevant projects.

Person Specification
Required Qualifications:
Proven leadership managing design engineering teams.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel, with the ability to guide others.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring quality across teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and time effectively.
Familiarity with civil works at a strategic level.
Competency in project management tools, alongside Excel and Word.
Education
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
Additional coursework or certifications in project management or leadership.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in civil or design engineering roles.
Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure or public works projects.
Direct experience with regulatory processes, including road opening licenses.
Expertise in managing budgets, bills of quantities, and utility coordination.
Demonstrated success in mentoring and managing engineering teams.
Certifications:
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or leadership preferred.
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Project certifications are desirable.
Advanced AutoCAD or BIM certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory certifications (e.g., road opening licenses) is beneficial.
