Project Scheduler Role

The Job:
We are seeking a Project Planner to join our construction team on a large-scale project in the Cork Region.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a reliable and responsive planning service for the project.
* Prepare schedules for all phases of a project across multiple disciplines.
* Ensure schedule updates from various area schedulers are carried out, and cross-checked for consistency with one another.
* Perform quality checks on the Schedule before submitting it externally to the Client.
* Monitor progress against schedules, analyze deviations, and recommend remedial actions.
* Co-ordinate a progress measurement system.
* Present to project teams and client on schedule control and procedures used.
* Analyze specific information from schedules using filters, lookaheads, histograms, S-curves.
* Collect and analyze information to plan and schedule construction projects.
* Work closely with Site management teams.
* Generate forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation to monitor and manage projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant Third Level Qualification.
* Previous experience as a Planner (4-5 years).
* Experience with Microsoft Project & Primavera.
* Recognised Construction Related Qualification.
* Knowledge of Civil works, M&E and Fit-Out's.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to use time productively, maximise efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
* Capacity to work well as part of a team and independently.
