The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of direct material suppliers and support its manufacturing operation. This is a 12 month contract role, with strong possibilities of extension. Maximise the use of 'Lean supply' methods to meet delivery and inventory objectives. Monitor key metrics in the areas of on time delivery, inventory, cost, quality and service to achieve agreed targets with suppliers. Lead all significant issue resolution programmes with suppliers in conjunction with Engineering and Quality Your qualifications and experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (QQI level 8). Minimum of 5 years professional experience within Procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience of dealing with a broad range of supplier organisations across Europe, Asia and North America. Your attributes and skills You are a team player, capable of building strong and influential relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. You have a good working knowledge of procurement methods, tools, processes and reports. You are a problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
