Specific Job Details:
Contract: Fixed term contract for maternity leave (10 months)
Working Pattern: Tuesday 9:00am - 18:00pm and Friday 8.30am - 17:30pm
Commencement Date:As soon as possible
The successful candidatewill be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Answering all in-coming calls and re-directing as appropriate
Meeting&greetingall patients to the Practice
Cashhandling and issuing of receipts
Maintaining GMS records
Preparing prescriptions
Scanning and filing
Any other duties assigned by the Practice Manageror GP
Requirements:
2 years medical administration/reception/customer service experience required
Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential
Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills
Strong Multi-Tasking Skills
Willingness to be a team player and an ability to work on own initiative
Excellent organisational skills
Flexible attitude to changing work practices
