This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Team Leader, responsible for ensuring efficient production scheduling and operational performance. The successful candidate will play a key part in planning and monitoring production activities, analyzing data, and supporting safe and effective mining operations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain detailed activity schedules aligned with weekly production plans.Prepare work orders for mine operations and contractor crews.Conduct shift start-up meetings with mine supervisors to ensure clear communication and alignment.Monitor production in real time, adjusting schedules as needed to meet targets.Provide accurate reporting and analysis of production data.Support emergency procedures and special duties as required.Skills and Experience Required:Minimum of a third-level qualification combined with relevant industry experience, or a Graduate Engineer in Mining or related disciplines.Previous experience in production scheduling within heavy industries is advantageous.Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work shifts.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
