Reade Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead our clients growing Construction team in the outskirts of Dublin and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing projects in Ireland with
Residential, commercial and Civil
experience ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standard.

Position Overview and Responsibilities.
1. Overall construction Oversight
2. Director all construction activities, from project inception through completion ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to highest of standards.
3. Establish and maintain robust quality control, safety and compliance measures.
4. Use data- driven insights to track progress, mitigate risks and deliver results
5. Strategic leadership and Reporting
6. Serve as the key liaison between onsite operation and the Board, providing regular updates on milestones, budget management, and strategic priorities.
7. Actively shape and execute construction strategy, aligning operational goals with the broader vision of the company.
8. Cross -Functional Collaboration.
9. Collaborate closely with Commercial, procurement, Operations, Health and Safety, and finance teams to optimise resources, control costs and maintain excellent communications channels
10. Drive Synergy across departments to streamline workflows and ensure swift, effective decision- making.
11. Mentoring and Team Development.
12. Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of construction staff both new hires and existing employees.
13. Create a supportive, growth-oriented culture by mentoring junior leaders, providing training opportunities, and encouraging professional advancement.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Engineering or construction qualification and 7 years post qualification within the Irish market.
* Ideally will have experience of a range of Residential and Commercial projects in construction industry.
* Team management experience and ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
* Good time management skills and ability to meet agreed budget deadlines.
* Must have excellent knowledge of building detail and construction technology
* Excellent written, oral communication and time management skills
