As a member of the AWS Support team, you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will act as the ‘Cloud Ambassador’ across all the cloud products, arming our customers with the required tools & tactics to optimize their Product and Support investment.

This role is primarily focused on customer support in the cloud, involving solving customer cases through various contact channels, applying troubleshooting techniques, and working on technical issues. Support engineers may also mentor new hires, develop training, collaborate with development teams, participate in hiring, create tools/scripts, or work on process improvements. Career development and training are emphasized, with opportunities for travel and participation in AWS events.
The Big Data role supports services that leverage data for insights, including ML/AI, using services like EMR, DynamoDB, MangoDB, and Apache Cassandra.

Supporting AWS sales, marketing, and global services by driving revenue, adoption, and growth among various customer segments. Interacting with leading companies and building mission-critical applications on AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Advanced experience in Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Presto.
* Advanced experience with NoSQL technologies like HBase.
* Excellent knowledge of Hadoop architecture, administration, and support.
* 3+ years of experience with a relevant degree or equivalent experience in a technical role or military service.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Expertise in Data Lake architecture and administration.
* Experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EMR, Glue, SageMaker.
* Deep understanding of distributed computing principles in the cloud.
* Knowledge of distributed computing environments.
