The Senior Occupational Therapist will get full exposure to work within a well established team.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed evaluations to identify clients' strengths, needs, and vocational interests, facilitating the development of tailored intervention plans.
Develop and implement personalised programs that promote independence, skill development, and community integration, addressing areas such as vocational skills and daily living activities.
Use evidence-based occupational therapy techniques to promote functional independence, addressing sensory, motor, or cognitive challenges that may impact daily living and vocational performance.
Provide clinical leadership and expertise in occupational therapy-related matters, managing resources, and guiding junior staff to ensure quality and safety of services.
Offer direct mentorship and clinical supervision to junior therapists and therapy assistants, facilitating their learning and development.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and employment specialists, to support clients in achieving their personal and professional goals.
Engage with clients, families, caregivers, and employers to provide specialised advice and strategies that support the client's development and participation in various settings.
Essential Requirements: Be registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in adult disability.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues and service users.
Experience in mentoring and supervising junior staff or students is desirable.
A full driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential.
