Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Endoscopy Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways, coordinating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as required.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, adhering to relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
* Qualifications: Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Bord of Ireland (NMBI).
* Experience: At least 1 year's post-registration experience in a similar role, preferably in an Endoscopy Unit.
* Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Certifications: Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
