Business Development Manager
Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the purpose of this role is to deliver profitable sales and services to your assigned region and customer target base.
Role Responsibilities
* Develop a robust sales pipeline of specified projects with a primary focus on the Fasterfix product family.
* Champion the adoption of the company’s innovative offsite steel reinforcement solutions, emphasizing their cost, labour, carbon, timesaving and health and safety benefits.
* Establish and maintain relationships with senior‑level stakeholders across the construction industry, including main contractors, structural engineers, and specifiers.
* Influence specifications at the early design stage, ensuring the company’s technology becomes an integral part of large‑scale construction projects.
* Prepare and deliver compelling, project‑specific proposals and presentations to prospective clients with support from the head office.
* Collaborate with team members, sharing product knowledge and market insights to foster a culture of innovation and success.
* Provide regular detailed reports on market trends, sales progress, and customer insights, finding opportunities for further growth.
* Maintain and update all sales activities on the company’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
* Deliver compelling CPD seminars to key stakeholders and specifiers to drive specification of Fasterfix.
* Work closely with the technical support department to ensure all presentations and proposals meet project‑specific requirements.
Job Requirements (including qualification & experience)
* 5+ Years Business Development Management Experience
* Background in Technical product sales, preferably in the construction / built environment sector
