About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Metrology Engineer with expertise in Calypso software to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in dimensional inspection programming and excellent collaboration skills.
The role requires developing, maintaining, and optimising CMM programs using Calypso software for accurate measurements. Key responsibilities include creating individual CMM programs for new product lines, performing setup and calibration of CMM machines, reviewing 2 D/3 D engineering drawings, analysing data, interpreting results, and providing feedback to quality teams.
The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical field) with minimum 5 years of experience as a CMM Programmer specialising in Calypso software. They should be familiar with Zeiss CMM systems, GMP standards ISO 13485 compliance requirements, GD&T fundamentals, CAD design principles CATIA Solid Works Creo. Familiarity with regulated environments is preferred as well Strong analytical documentation problem-solving communication teamwork abilities are essential.
