Electrical Maintenance Technician at Signode Gorey
Signode, a global leader in packaging solutions, is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to contribute to the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment at our Gorey Plant.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions
3. Install and upgrade electrical systems and components
4. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system reliability
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
6. Maintain safety standards, safe systems, and safe places of work
7. Report and correct unsafe acts & conditions
8. Maintain both electrical and mechanical functions of the Plant, internally and externally
9. Maintain all machinery and equipment in the plant, including preventative maintenance programmes
10. Responsible for Tool Room, including layout, organisation, and inventory balance
11. Requisition spare parts
12. Prepare computerised stock reports on spare parts
13. Accurately record daily, weekly, monthly timesheets and breakdown reports, including reasons for breakdown and actions required and taken
14. Adhere to Health & Safety procedures when carrying out maintenance work, including wearing protective clothing and safety equipment at all times
15. Carry out any other duties as required, including project work and ancillary work
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
2. SCADA, PLC, and Drive experience preferred
3. Full electrical qualification
4. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments & changing priorities
5. Organized with excellent attention to detail, following through on all assignments to completion
