Principal Consultant @ Mason Alexander | Private Credit, Private Equity and Investments Finance Business Partner – 6-Month Contract (with potential to extend) We're partnering with one of the most exciting, high-growth consumer brands in the health and beauty space.
Backed by a dynamic finance team and a founder-led leadership structure, this is a unique opportunity to join during a pivotal phase of international growth and structural change.
They are undergoing a cross-border restructure and are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to help shape the future finance function, with a strong focus on commercial input and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities: Partner closely with the Finance Director and broader team on all commercial finance matters Corporate Finance, Restructuring or Commercial Finance experience.
Support VAT, tax, audit preparation, and financial memos for internal and external stakeholders Take ownership of documenting financial processes, controls, and decision-making frameworks Provide commercial insights to support the ongoing refinance and strategic planning Bridge operational finance with strategic finance through collaboration with senior leadership Act as a key point of contact across Ireland and UK entities during the restructuring phase What We're Looking For: Minimum of 3–5 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with both practice and industry exposure Strong commercial acumen and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments Experience in tax, audit, VAT, or corporate finance would be a strong advantage A self-starter with the ability to create structure in ambiguity and drive projects forward Excellent communication skills, particularly in a hybrid/remote working environment 6-month contract with potential to extend Competitive day rate or fixed-term salary equivalent (commensurate with experience) This is a rare opportunity to be at the heart of a finance transformation project with a brand that's scaling fast, both in the Irish and UK markets.
