This role goes far beyond traditional finance – you'll be our Dublin office leader, driving operational excellence, and partnering with the CEO to scale our global impact.As Head of Finance & Administration, you'll combine financial expertise with hands-on leadership to build systems, lead people, and ensure flawless delivery to our pharma and biotech clients worldwide. This is an opportunity to be a founding leader in our next growth phase, ensuring that Beats Medical is well-positioned to scale, deliver outstanding projects for our global clients, and prepare for future growth capital opportunities.KKey ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategic PartnershipPartner with the CEO as a key member of the executive teamLead and inspire our Dublin office, fostering a high-performance, collaborative cultureDrive strategic decision-making through financial insights and operational expertisePresent confidently to board, investors, and key stakeholdersAdministration & Office ManagementOversee all administrative functions including office operations, facilities management, and vendor relationshipsManage IT systems, procurement processes, and contract administrationEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and governance frameworksCoordinate legal and regulatory matters with external advisorsStreamline administrative processes to support business growth and efficiencyFinance Leadership & ControlEstablish and lead a robust financial control environmentDeliver finance operations (payroll, AR/AP, cash flow, management accounts)Deliver timely and insightful reporting for leadership, board, and investorsManage relationships with auditors and advisorsStrategic Finance & FundraisingDevelop financial models and forecasts to support growth and investmentPartner with CEO/board on growth and fundraising activities (research grants, investor materials, data rooms and reporting)Provide clear, actionable insights to guide strategic decision-makingOperations & Project DeliveryDrive operational excellence across client projects, ensuring delivery on time and to the highest standardImplement scalable processes, systems, and reporting frameworksResolve operational challenges that affect growth or client satisfactionPeople & AdministrationLead the Dublin office, building a collaborative and high-performance cultureOversee HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle managementContribute to people strategy, including recruitment, onboarding, and development programsManage employee relations, performance management processes, and policy implementationFoster cross-functional collaboration across product, research, and commercial teamsSkills and QualificationsEssentialFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with Big 4 training3–5+ years PQE in a senior finance role (startup, scale-up, or high-growth company)Proven ability to manage finance end-to-endProven track record of leading teams and driving organizational changeExperience scaling operations in a fast-growth environmentExperience managing administrative functions and office operationsKnowledge of HR processes, employment law, and compliance requirementsStrong operational and project management experienceExcellent communication and board-level presentation skillsStrong executive presence with entrepreneurial mindsetDesirableFundraising, grants or investor relations experiencePeople management or office leadership exposureSaaS, digital health, or pharma/biotech backgroundExperience with modern finance systems and SaaS KPIsBackground in office management or facilities coordinationWhat We OfferExecutive leadership role with significant autonomy and decision-making authorityDirect partnership with CEO in shaping company strategy and growthOpportunity to build and lead a world-class digital health companies finance and administration functionOpportunity to build and optimize all administrative and operational systems from the ground upClose collaboration with the CEO and leadership teamOpportunities for growth as the company scales globallyPlatform to drive meaningful impact in CNS conditions and rare diseases globallyA mission-driven culture transforming lives through technologyThis is more than a finance role, it's a chance to be a leader in our next growth phase.
