The Opportunity This is a senior, client-facing commercial role focused on winning and converting high-value commercial new business while maintaining strong relationships across a small portfolio of existing accounts.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional sales teams, contribute to company-wide sales campaigns, and take the lead on generating larger commercial opportunities.
A hybrid setup is offered, with a strong emphasis on face-to-face client engagement .
Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a small book of existing commercial clients.
Lead new business acquisition activities across Commercial Lines.
Identify, quote, and convert new commercial opportunities, including complex risks.
Consistently meet income, revenue, and referral targets.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, achieving agreed conversion ratios.
Deliver best-in-class customer service to all clients and prospects.
Work closely with broking and compliance teams to ensure all activity meets regulatory standards.
Support and guide Account Executives as required.
Manage premium collection and aged debt effectively.
Ensure full compliance with all audit and corporate governance requirements.
Essential Skills Experience (Core Requirements) Only candidates who meet all of the below will be considered: CIP qualification (ACII qualified or progressing towards ACII is strongly preferred).
Minimum 5 years' Commercial Lines experience within the insurance industry.
Demonstrable track record of new business development and revenue growth .
Proven ability to convert large and complex commercial risks into long-term clients.
Strong technical insurance knowledge across Commercial Lines.
Fully compliant with the Central Bank MCC and Fitness Probity standards.
