From motorways to tramways, water and wastewater treatment to smart cities, clients choose us to help them solve their most complex challenges and to deliver climate responsible growth that meets the needs of communities, industry and the planet.About the RoleTo support the ongoing development of our Intercity Service Line activities, we are recruiting a Bid Engineer to:take part in the development of the service lines products worldwide (rail, road & signaling)support development of local expertise and Key Peoplesupport the production strategy, quality of delivery of major projects and staffing of project/design managers and expertsReporting to the Technical Director of the Intercity Service Line, you will be part of the Global Support Team, whose main mission is to provide support across all Egis regions, particularly during tender and projects phases, or at the business development stage if needed.In this context, you will be involved on the following topics, for tenders and projects, for various type of services, from upstream (feasibility studies) to downstream (detailed design):Project management/costing/commercial supportRisk management/Mitigation supportTechnical Expertise/Peer Review/Audit coordinationStaffing supportTechnical CoordinationDuring the tender phase, you will work in close collaboration with the Bid Manager of the Region concerned, as well as with all the technical, administrative and financial departments to federate their various contributions. You will participate in the management of bids in project mode, ensuring:that deadlines and objectives are metthe clarity and competitiveness of the proposed solutionsthe participation in the analysis of the specifications and the definition of the means to be implemented to deliver a quality offer within the deadline set by the Customer.the coordination of the technical experts who will be involved in the production of the bid, and contribute to the drafting of the technical sectionscompliance with subsidiary and Group quality procedures. You may be required to deal with other companies in the context of partnerships or consortiumsYou will also be mobilized to:promote Egis solutions in terms of innovation, eco-design and digital technology in tenders and projectssupport the development of technical expertise in the regionsidentify and manage feedback topics (technical, design or project management…) as part of our continuous improvement processWhat do we need from youEngineer with at least 5 years' experience with a first project and tender experience, you've been working ideally in the intercity rail or road transport sector and internationally.You have demonstrated your ability to work in a project team, and to mobilize all types of stakeholders.You have good writing and interpersonal skills, and are able to adapt to multicultural environments.Initial technical experience, sales experience or business development skills with public or private clients are a major asset.You have a good command of Office tools (Power Point and Excel imperative).Fluent English is imperative.What's in it for you?We offer you the chance to work on a wide variety of rail (conventional railways and high-speed lines), road and signaling projects and tenders around the world.Some examples of projects/tenders for the next 3 years?
