Senior Director Product Operations EMEIA Cork, County Cork, Ireland | Operations and Supply Chain
Description As Senior Director of Product Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
Regional Lead for Supply Chain Operations functions (Procurement, NPI, Product, Process, Supplier, Quality), developing and implementing strategic direction in regional configuration, manufacturing excellence, and global support.
Building and leading an efficient Operations team to execute the European strategy across Engineering, Manufacturing, Distribution Centres (DC), value-added capabilities, and in-region supplier management.
Hiring, developing, and retaining emerging talent within the Product Operations team, including managing global graduate programmes.
Driving leadership excellence through metrics related to cost, quality, and delivery.
Delivering customer value-added services such as personalisation, localisation, and customisation across multiple regional DCs.
Collaborating with US Engineering and Product teams and leveraging Regional R&D capabilities to enhance product design.
Developing and executing procurement and material management processes for direct and indirect goods and services.
Communicating strategy objectives effectively at town halls, staff, and VP meetings, influencing at the executive level.
Minimum Qualifications Proven success in building, developing, and leading inclusive, diverse, and impactful multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex global projects.
Inspirational leadership of senior engineering and operational teams managing Supply Chain Program Management and Engineering functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Industrial Relations.
Hands-on technical leadership with extensive business knowledge across Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Design/Optimisation, Cost Reduction, Outsourcing/Supplier Management, NPI, and Process & Test Engineering.
Experience supporting outsourced Order Fulfilment and Systems Manufacturing operations.
Extensive management experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Ability to operate effectively in a team-based, international, matrixed, and ambiguous environment.
Third-level qualification in Engineering and/or Operations Management.
