Limerick Salary: Competitive The Role: Due to an expanding portfolio of works Glanua is seeking experienced General Operatives, Groundworkers, Machine Drivers and Pipelayers.
You will work as part of our multi-disciplinary project delivery team from initial mobilisation to site to final site finishes and demobilisation.
You will have the opportunity to experience the full variety of works involved in the delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure projects, from pipelay and deep drainage works to site finishes such as landscaping and kerbing.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: The main duties and responsibilities of the role are outlined as follows: Work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any one time, embracing the ethos of a "one team" culture.
Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability standards, policies and procedures are always adhered to on-site.
Ability to install ducting, sewer pipework, manholes, drainage, and water mains.
Works involved in the completion of site finishes, inclusive of kerbing, shuttering concrete pouring and finishing, topsoiling and landscaping.
Have an awareness of best practice housekeeping and make a conscious effort to uphold housekeeping on your site.
Liaise closely with the project delivery engineering team on-site, HSQE advisor, and management in order to ensure safe and timely delivery of duties.
Ensure a positive experience for the client and their representatives instilling an ethos of collaboration, cooperation and respect.
Other duties as required from time to time Knowledge, Skills and Experience: The main knowledge, skills and experience required for the position are outlined as follows: Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably in utilities/ water and wastewater industry.
Experience on Irish Water projects a distinct advantage Manual handling and safe pass required Excavator, dumper ticket, slg or lugs tickets must be up to date and will be considered advantageous HDPE welding experience and training cert although not required is desirable Ability to use grade and level lasers Experience in shuttering, kerbing and concrete pouring and finishing Basic understanding of health and safety standards and the ability to embrace the safety ethos of the organisation Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects Full Driving Licence What we offer you: The opportunity to join an ambitious and growing organisation.
