Job Description
The role of a Human Resources Manager is multifaceted, encompassing various HR-related functions within the business.
This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, supporting staff members, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
As the first point of contact for all employee HR queries, this individual will provide guidance on company policies, contracts, benefits, and other relevant matters.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Managing and processing payroll
* Maintaining and coordinating training requirements across the company
* Overseeing recruitment processes, including advertising roles, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
* Conducting and supporting performance reviews, salary reviews, and remuneration benchmarking
* Managing disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice
* Maintaining and updating employee records in line with GDPR requirements
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications
This role requires the following skills and qualifications:
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 minimum; Level 7 desirable)
* Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in a HR Generalist role
* Experience in a standalone HR position or SME environment would be an advantage
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
* Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative
