Procurement Lead
We are working in partnership with a build construction firm based in Tullamore to appoint a Procurement lead.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior procurement professional to take the next step in their career and lead a team.
Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and Buying: Source and purchase a wide range of materials, ensuring timely delivery to support the smooth operation of the construction site.
* Negotiations: Negotiate best prices and lead times with suppliers, continuously monitoring performance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Communication: Liaise frequently with site managers, project teams, and quantity surveyors to forecast material requirements.
* Inventory Management: Monitor delivery schedules and stock levels to maintain a seamless day-to-day operation.
* Process Improvement: Work collaboratively to implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
* Proficiency in software packages and Microsoft Office applications.
This role offers the potential to progress to a Procurement Manager position and develop your leadership skills.
