Job Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the logistics department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation network.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Managing and coordinating import/export operations, including transportation planning and POD management;
* Creatingshipping and delivery schedules, as well as managing driver hours and routes;
* Using a customer complaints log to track and resolve issues in a timely manner;
* Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders through various channels (text, email, phone);
* Making ferry bookings and providing relevant information to drivers;
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies;
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* 3-4 years of experience as a Transport Planner or equivalent;
* Proven experience working with temperature-controlled shipments and international transport between Ireland and the UK;
* Excellent communication and MS Office skills;
* A valid work permit, visa, or sponsorship authorization for Ireland.
