Your new company A software SME group in South County Dublin are seeking a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team of 3 people, however an experience part-qualified accountant near to full qualification may still be considered.
This group operates across global markets and fosters a really collaborative environment, excellent flexibility on hybrid working hours with 2 days a week in the office and 3 at home and can offer career progression as they continue to grow.
They are open to a more experienced qualified accountant on a part-time basis on a 25 hour week too.
Your new role Reporting directly to the CFO, this Financial Accountant job will focus on management accounts, payroll, journal posting and overseeing AP.
Your duties will Preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements Prepare and post journals with the ability to identify and rectify issues Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger Prepare and process UK payroll Managing VAT and corporation tax filings Processing invoices, payments and expenses - minimal AP with 10-15 suppliers Collaborate cross-departmentally with various stakeholders to resolve queries Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies What you'll need to succeed Recently qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or Part Qualified (Finalists) Really strong communication skills with fluent English to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders across different departments and regions Experience preparing management accounts and processing payroll (UK payroll an advantage) AccountsIQ system experience an advantage What you'll get in return On a full-time basis you will be rewarded with a salary of €50,000 - €60,000 depending on experience and qualification level and on a part time basis your pro-rata'd salary for 25 hours would be €46,000.
Benefits include pension (5-10% depending on length of service), 2.5% Christmas bonus, study support (if part-qualified), days annual leave (increases with service) and flexibility on working hours.
