Maintain inventory level and better product availability efficiently and effectively. Support the overall purchasing operations while minimising risks.You'll have a positive outlook that will help you thrive in the achievement of the following daily responsibilities:Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of purchase order processing to avoid costly mistakes and delays.Monitor inventory levels/ product availability daily, and place orders to replenish stock as needed, to ensure stock levels are maintained at the required levelsAssist and liaise with suppliers regarding order confirmation, prices, terms and delivery schedules to prevent miscommunication or incorrect contractual agreements.Coordinate with accounts and warehouse teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and delivery queries to maintain accurate financial and inventory records.What are we looking for?Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant or in a similar role.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Comfortable working with data, figures, and numeric information.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Familiarity with ERP systems or similar IT systems.Adaptable and eager to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.What can we offer you?A competitive annual salaryMonday to Thursday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm24 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany Pension Scheme with employer contribution at 5%Life Assurance (6x salary for pension scheme members)Access to free & confidential 24/7 Employee Assistance ProgrammeFree access to health and wellbeing appFree on-site car parkingAccess to tools and hardware at a discounted rate
