Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Optimization Specialist to join our team.
This role is responsible for monitoring and managing the utilization of energy on-site to ensure efficient resource allocation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, finance, and facilities management.
The ideal candidate will be able to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to reduce energy consumption. They will also work closely with the site EHS team to ensure compliance with corporate and local legislative programs.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement energy-saving initiatives. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring energy usage and identifying opportunities for reduction
* Developing and implementing energy-saving initiatives
* Liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation
* Analyzing data to inform decision-making
* Collaborating with the site EHS team to ensure compliance
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A National Framework of Qualifications level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline
* 2+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Exposure to ISO50001 requirements and operations
