IT Project Manager - Financial Services - Dublin - 6 months contract - HYBRID - PAYEWe are seeking a IT Project Manager preferably with experience of working with pricing and underwriting teams within insurance to join our client, a global insurance brand, in Dublin on an initial 6 months contract. For this role we're ideally looking for an IT Project Manager with end to end experience managing system integrations within the insurance or financial services industry.About the RoleAs the IT Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of high-priority business change initiatives, ensuring their successful delivery from discovery through to rollout and operational handover. Working within established governance frameworks, you'll lead cross-functional teams, maintain visibility across all deliverables, and keep stakeholders engaged, informed, and aligned.You will:* Provide exceptional leadership to drive Pricing & Underwriting workstreams into an operational state, following established release, change, and quality management processes.* Define project scope, business outcomes, deliverables, interdependencies, and resource needs.* Manage end-to-end project activity including business process design, system development, testing, training, change management, communications, and transition.* Track milestones, benefits, KPIs, and proactively manage changes to scope and timelines.* Oversee project budgets (€1m-€5m), reporting progress and risks to the PMO Manager.* Act as the key point of accountability for all project-related matters.* Ensure dependencies with other projects are coordinated and risks mitigated.* Champion the Project Delivery Framework and support stakeholder engagement across the organisation.* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring successful delivery and positive collaboration.Key Responsibilities* Lead rating engine deliverables within the Pricing & Underwriting workstreams.* Foster a culture of openness, transparency and shared ownership across the team.* Coach, motivate, and guide high-performing teams (where applicable).* Ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards.* Manage vendor relationships and contracts to secure successful delivery.* Maintain professionalism and momentum under pressure, navigating challenges with confidence.* Drive strategic thinking and informed decision-making to support business transformation.Required Skills* Degree in IT, Computing, Engineering, Accounting, Science, or equivalent.* Minimum 7 years' experience as a Project Manager delivering multiple, complex technical projects.* Experience in insurance or financial services.* Proven success managing €1m-€5m project budgets.* Strong background in enterprise software delivery, ideally with experience in rating engine or scoring engine solutions.* Excellent estimation, planning, and negotiation skills, with the ability to re-prioritise dynamically.* Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines.* Strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.* Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams.* Detail-oriented, resilient under pressure, and naturally collaborative with a positive, proactive mindset.*Please note that this role will be working on a hybrid model of 3 days office based and 2 days WFH.*We are committed to creating an inclusive recruitment experience.
