Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences.
Bitten By A Dog: A HUMan-ANimal Problem is a research project on dog bites funded by the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine (DAFM) in Ireland. This multidisciplinary project includes human medical, veterinary, and psychology components, incorporating elements of Geographic Information Systems/Spatial Epidemiology and Implementation Science. The project involves observational epidemiologic studies investigating risk factors for a) dog bites to humans and b) dog attacks on sheep, their impact, as well as stakeholder attitudes towards potential solutions in Ireland. The study will include Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) and use a mixed-method approach to data analysis.
Research Assistant salary: €32,962 per annum
Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
